Mesquite's first city spray pad, opened in summer 2024 at Clay Mathis Park near Creek Crossing. The project also added shade structures, restrooms, extra parking and updated playground equipment to the park.
When to go. Peak summer highs in Mesquite average 96°F. Mornings and late afternoons are far more comfortable than the middle of the day, and shade is worth planning around.
